‘Bharatham’ was started in the year 1996. Bharatham has been affiliated to The Tamilnadu Music and fine Arts University to run their Certificate courses in vocal , violin and Bharathanatyam since 2015.All the students who have taken up the exams have passed with first class and distinction in both practicals and Theory. 49 students have completed the course and passed successfully till date.

More than 50 arangetrams have been conducted. The students have performed in various Dance festivals in Chennai and TV Channels like thaka di mi tha in Jaya TV and Valarum kalaignar in Doordarshan. Her students are receiving the Schorlarship awarded by Centre for cultural Resources and Training .All her students who have been to the audition have been selected to perform by the VDS Arts Academy, Chennai under their Talent Revealing Opportunity Programme and the reviews have been very encouraging and some of them have won the appreciation awards. The programmes of her students have been reviewed by critics in The Indian Express and The Hindu. The students who have performed in VDS Arts academy have been selected for appreciation awards and medals in appreciation of their performance.

The students of Bharatham had presented a Dance Dramas on the Themes like “Shivalinga dharisanam”, “ Eashwara Dharisanam” , “Shakthi Prabhaavam” , “Paranthaama Vaibhavam” .

The latest production is a comedy dance musical Thuru Thuru Tenali Raman.
